The Long Sign

This lovely little tale is an original from Tony Chandler.

There is a little village in Wales named: “LANFAIRPWLLGWYNGYLLGOGERYCHWYRNDROBWLLLLANTYSILIOGOGOGOC”. Many, many years ago, on the side of the road leading into the village, there used to be a sign announcing the town’s name, made of letters carved in wood. Alice and the Frogs

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Alice who lived with her aunt in a house near the edge of a swamp.

The Story of the Missing Foam

An American tourist was visiting London when he heard of a pub called the Pig and Whistle where a special kind of beer, famous for its foamy head, was served. He just had to see this and went to the Pig and Whistle. He walked up to the bar and ordered a tankard of ale.
