Crossing the Vampire Tale Three

Has anyone else noticed the English chauvinism in the novel Dracula? Count Dracula and his Transylvanian wives are all portrayed as evil bloodsuckers, but the young English lady the Count transforms into one of the undead is depicted as a pitiable victim and not wicked, though she is preying on innocent young children.

The Local AM Radio station here ran a story this morning about a research project that is involved in feeding Prozac to clams.

I called the station to ask where this study was being conducted, and they said it’s in Gettysburg, PA.
